The Township is governed by three elected Trustees and an elected Fiscal Officer who oversees the Township’s finances.
Gordon, a lifelong resident of Huron, is the fifth generation of his family to farm in Huron. He is a graduate of Huron High School and Bowling Green State University. He is the owner/operator of Hahn Farms which includes a road side market for sweet corn and produce. Gordon is a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Erie County Farm Bureau, where he serves on the board. He enjoys being a volunteer basketball coach in the Huron City Schools.
As a Huron Township Trustees, he is also a member of the Ohio Township Trustees Association and the Eric County Township Association.
Gordon and his wife, Mary Ann, have four grown children.
Edward Enderle was born, raised, and has been a life long resident of Huron. His father, Edward, retired as a Trustee in 1996 and Ed decided to follow in his father’s footsteps as a Trustee. He was elected and has held that position since. He married his wife, Tracy, and they have two sons. He is a partner in Enderle Family Farm. He works fulltime at PBOSG (NASA support) as a Mechanical Engineer Technician and is an active Republican. He is also involved as a Youth Leader at Milan Friends Church, Charter member of Firelands Habitat for Humanity, Ohio Farm Bureau, Ohio Township Association, and the Erie County Township Trustee Association

Mary K. Schlessman has been a residence of Huron Township for 36 years. She has served on the Huron Township Zoning Commission for 27 years. She is a Graduate of Tiffin University with a degree in Business Administration. Mary K. is married to David Schlessman, a lifelong resident of Huron Township. They have been farming together in the Township for over 30 years. She is retired from Civista Bank where she worked in the Castalia Office for 28 years. There she served as a Compliance Officer, Senior Vice President and Commercial Lender.
Mary K. is a member of St. John's Lutheran Church at Union Corners. She previously served as President of the Church Council and is currently Treasurer of the Endowment Committee.
She is the proud mother of 3 grown sons.
