The Township is governed by three elected Trustees and an elected Fiscal Officer who oversees the Township’s finances.
Gordon, a lifelong resident of Huron, is the fifth generation of his family to farm in Huron. He is a graduate of Huron High School and Bowling Green State University. He is the owner/operator of Hahn Farms which includes a road side market for sweet corn and produce. Gordon is a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Erie County Farm Bureau, where he serves on the board. He enjoys being a volunteer basketball coach in the Huron City Schools.
As a Huron Township Trustees, he is also a member of the Ohio Township Trustees Association and the Eric County Township Association.
Gordon and his wife, Mary Ann, have four grown children.
Edward Enderle was born, raised, and has been a life long resident of Huron. His father, Edward, retired as a Trustee in 1996 and Ed decided to follow in his father’s footsteps as a Trustee. He was elected and has held that position since. He married his wife, Tracy, and they have two sons. He is a partner in Enderle Family Farm. He works fulltime at PBOSG (NASA support) as a Mechanical Engineer Technician and is an active Republican. He is also involved as a Youth Leader at Milan Friends Church, Charter member of Firelands Habitat for Humanity, Ohio Farm Bureau, Ohio Township Association, and the Erie County Township Trustee Association
Robert Boos was born and raised in Huron Township and is the owner and operator of Boos Farms. His wife, Linda, was also born in Huron Township and both are graduates of Huron High School. They are the parents of four children. He was first elected as a Trustee in 1983 and has held that position since. He is an active member of Farm Bureau, Ohio Township Trustees Association, Erie County Township Trustees Association, and he has been a lifelong member of the Huron Methodist Church.
